The John P. McKenna Youth Fishing Derby has been established with hopes of sharing John’s passions for fishing with other members of the community by offering a free day of fun for kids and their families by hosting an annual fishing derby. All proceeds raised will fund the John P. McKenna Youth Fishing Derby, to be held this year on Saturday September 25th, 2021  at Morton Park. The fishing derby is free and open to all children ages 3-17 from Plymouth and surrounding communities. Children participating in the derby are provided with fishing instruction, a goody bag and prizes. Registration is at 8:00am, with the event running from 9:00am-12:30pm. *The rain date is Sunday September 26th*Age groups are 3-7, 8-10, 11-14 and 15-17. There will be lots of tackle and rod/reel combos to given as prizes along with trophies in each age category including a grand prize for the biggest fish.*This is a free event*BRING YOUR OWN FISHING POLES AND BAITIf you miss pre-registration, you can still go the day of and register.A fishing licence for a MA resident who is 17 or younger is free for fresh water. For ages 15-17 you must show proof that you have obtained your free fishing licence. To obtain a fishing license click here All state wildlife and fishing laws apply.

A course for fourth & fifth graders to learn about safety to and from school, phone and food safety, first aid and choking, as well as emergency prevention. Instruction includes basic self defense. COVID GUIDELINES-In alignment with the state wide advisory on masking, all students in grades k-6 wear masks and all unvaccinated students grade 7 and above wear masks indoors. As guidelines change, South Shore Safety will continue to follow whatever is current.

This league that is for those children not ready for highly competitive play. TOT & YOUTHFor participants with little or no formal skating instruction, our group skating classes teach skating basics in a fun and comfortable environment. Skaters will be grouped by age and/or ability if possible. Prerequisites for Wednesday's Tot is for 4-6 years and Youth is for 6-15 years. ALL participants must be potty trained and capable of independently wearing a mask, social distancing and following directions.  TEEN/ADULTIt’s never too late to learn how to skate! Participants 16 years and older are invited to learn to skate or enhance skating skills in a fun and comfortable environment. Skaters will be grouped by age/or ability if possible. Prerequisites: For participants 16 years and older. BE PREPARED FOR CLASS-All participants will need to comply with FMC Ice Sports COVID Guidelines at https://fmcicesports.com/covid-19-guidelines. Come join us at our BRAND NEW courts at Forges Field for the fastest growing sport in America! A Paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels.  The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast paced, competitive game for experienced players.  It’s a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong.  We will provide all the equipment.  (you are more than welcome to bring your own paddles). *no make ups for outdoor pickleball Beginners and Experienced players welcome, we will have 6 courts to play on.  Space is limited to the first 60 people registered. *YOU MUST REGISTER TO PLAY.*Players can only register for one session per season so that it gives others the opportunity to participate during the week, if you register for more than one you will be cancelled out of one of the sessions and charged a $10 cancellation fee.* THIS IS A PICK UP LEAGUE FORMAT AND NOT AN INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMFor beginners, please check out the following YouTube video to learn the basics of the game: Pickleball Instructional VideoOnly portable toilets availableCOVID GUIDELINES-Masks are no longer required at this program for the participant or the instructor. TUMBLE WITH ME            AGES 2-3 WITH PARENTA coach will guide the parents and children through various circuits that will begin to develop the basics for gymnastics. Parents are actively involved with their children while they explore the equipment.  We will help your child develop strength, perceptual and gross motor development, directionality, following sequences & directions, body awareness and coordination skills. This class will help children become more independent and prepare them for the preschool gymnastics class. (parent participation required) ADVANCED TUMBLE WITH ME         AGES 3-4This class is designed for children that feel confident following direction and participating in a group environment type of class without their parents presence. 3 year olds must have taken at least 1 Tumble with Me class.  We will help your child develop strength, perceptual and gross motor development, directionality, following sequences & directions, body awareness and coordination skills.PROGRAM INFO-Effective 8/11 the Board of Selection voted to make masks mandatory in all town buildings. If this policy changes before class starts or during the session we will make an updated announcement.-Adult participant must wear a mask for the program.-Masks are required for ALL children ages 2+-Tumble with parent class: Limited to 6 participants with 1 adult. -Advanced tumble class: Limited to 6 participants. No additional siblings or adults can attend the program. -Children must be able to listen / follow directions of the coach. TOT & YOUTHFor participants with little or no formal skating instruction, our group skating classes teach skating basics in a fun and comfortable environment. Skaters will be grouped by age and/or ability if possible. Prerequisites for Wednesday's Tot is for 4-6 years and Youth is for 6-15 years. ALL participants must be potty trained and capable of independently wearing a mask, social distancing and following directions.  TEEN/ADULTIt’s never too late to learn how to skate! Participants 16 years and older are invited to learn to skate or enhance skating skills in a fun and comfortable environment. A child care safety education course for new and seasoned baby-sitters.  Teaches child development, practical child care skills, basic first-aid, how to handle emergencies, and the characteristics and responsibilities of a successful baby-sitter. Please bring: a lunch, a doll or stuffed animal to practice diapering and choke-saving techniques, and a “Babysitter’s Magic Bag” filled with interesting and safe items that kids would like. When you baby sit, the “treasures” from your magic bag will help make the time you spend with children fun and interesting. Keep in mind the ages of the children for whom you may be responsible. Make sure all items are safe and not broken. There should be no sharp edges, loose wires, or buttons that can injure a child by cutting or swallowing. Have fun and use your imagination! TOT & YOUTHFor participants with little or no formal skating instruction, our group skating classes teach skating basics in a fun and comfortable environment. Skaters will be grouped by age and/or ability if possible. Prerequisites for Wednesday's Tot is for 4-6 years and Youth is for 6-15 years. ALL participants must be potty trained and capable of independently wearing a mask, social distancing and following directions.  TEEN/ADULTIt’s never too late to learn how to skate! Participants 16 years and older are invited to learn to skate or enhance skating skills in a fun and comfortable environment.
