**PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION FOR THE PROGRAM**This program is for individuals too old for our Half-Day program, but too young to have a job yet. Through this program, individuals will be given the opportunity to work closely with our half-day program staff learning the ropes of the program. This programs is perfect for individuals who will be looking for a job working with children or working at another camp when they are old enough. The CIT will stay with their assigned group for the summer and will learn how to instruct different activities (soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, playground, arts & crafts, street hockey, etc) so they get a feel for what each counselor does with their groups. We will follow state guidelines related to COVID-19. We ask that your child be sent with a mask to wear during the program.*The program will be cancelled if it is raining or if the facility is unsafe from weather*The program is limited to 10 kids.

**PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION FOR THE PROGRAM**Hedges Pond: Our Half-Day Program is one of the most popular programs our department offers. This state of the art facility has basketball nets, a soccer field, an arts and crafts area and much more! To adhere to state guidelines we will have groups of 10 kids, and 1 counselor. Children will be grouped together with similar aged children (and siblings), given a specific group color, and will be together the whole summer (unless the state guidelines change that will allow us the switch the groups later on as we move through the phases). It will be a set schedule for every week and kids will not be able to choose their activities like they have in the past. The Half Day Program consists of three 45 minute sessions.We will follow state guidelines related to COVID-19. At drop off, families will be asked if they are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, etc. Under phase 2 guidelines masks will be required if the participants cannot maintain social distance (6 ft apart).The bathhouse will not be open this summer and port-o-johns will be used during camp at Hedges Pond.  If the State guidelines change and we are able to re-open the facilities safely we will do so.*The program will be cancelled if it is raining or if the facility is unsafe from weather*Unfortunately we will not be able to offer the West Elementary Program or Nathaniel Morton Program this summer.  The schools are not allowing any inside or outside use of their facilities because of COVID-19.  **This program is limited to 100 kids.Questions please email Mat Mills at mmills@townhall.plymouth.ma.us

Come join us down at Stephens Field for the fastest growing sport in America! A Paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels.  The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast paced, competitive game for experienced players.  It’s a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong.  We will provide all the equipment and 3 courts.  (you are more than welcome to bring your own paddles).  Beginners and Experienced players welcome, we will have 3 courts to play on.  Space is limited to the first 20 people registered. YOU MUST REGISTER TO PLAY. THIS IS A PICK UP LEAGUE FORMAT AND NOT AN INSTRUCTIONAL PROGRAMFor beginners, please check out the following YouTube video to learn the basics of the game: Pickleball Instructional VideoCOVID GUIDELINES:-Under phase 2 guidelines masks will be required if the participants cannot maintain social distance (6 ft apart). -Limited to 20 players-Masks are recommended-Single play is recommended if you do not feel like you can social distance. Doubles are allowed if you are in the same household or feel like you can properly maintain social distance. -Players who are waiting on the side lines to play must continue to practice social distancing

Our youth archery program offers children the unique opportunity to discover the joy of shooting a bow as well as learning about different disciplines of the sport.  Each day the children will will learn to develop proper shooting form based on the National Training System (NTS) under the instruction of a certified coach. A variety of creative and challenging target games are incorporated in every class to ensure students will have fun while learning proper form and aiming skills.  In addition to receiving clear instruction, this class provides unique benefits to children, including the opportunity to make new friends, a great upper body workout, and the chance to build self confidence.Instructor is USA Archery certified - Dee SacchettiCOVID GUIDELINES-Under phase 3 guidelines masks will be required if the participants cannot maintain social distance (6 ft apart)-Instructor will be required to wear mask if they cannot remain socially distant from students.-Each student will receive their own bow and arrows for the duration of the class. If sharing of bows is necessary, wipes will be available to use before the next student uses the equipment.-Students will remain 6ft apart designated by cones. -All equipment will be cleaned after class.-If you would like your child to wear their mask for the duration of the program please communicate that with the instructor.

If you need help with the levels please give the office a call.LEVEL 1 – WATER EXPLORATION The  main focus of Level 1 is an introduction to water.  If your child cannot fully submerge without holding their nose, this class is for them.  Skills required to pass this level include:  front and back float with supports, front and back glide with support, basic combined stroke.LEVEL 2 – PRIMARY SKILLS The  main focus of this level is to strengthen front and back floating skills and work on basic front and back crawl (beginner stroke) skills. In order to pass this level the child must be comfortable underwater, roll from front to back float, tread water for 15 seconds, and  swim for 5 body lengths using a combined stroke or beginner stroke.LEVEL 3 – STROKE  DEVELOPMENT The  main focus of this level is strengthening front and back swimming skills in deep water. The skills associated with the elementary backstroke and sidestroke kick will be introduced. In order to pass this level the child must be able to tread in deep water for 30 seconds, swim the front crawl for 15 yards using rotary breathing and demonstrate knowledge of both the elementary backstroke and scissor kick in deep water.  They will need to be comfortable swimming underwater.LEVEL 4 – STROKE IMPROVEMENTThe  main focus of this level is to build swimming endurance and improve stroke technique. In order to be in this level your child needs to have passed level 3 and be able to swim crawl and elementary backstrokes with good technique for 15 yards. Sidestroke skills will be improved on and complicated breaststroke and butterfly stroke skills will be taught. In order to pass this level the child must be able to swim Front Crawl and elementary back strokes for 25 yards, sidestroke for 15 yards and show knowledge of breaststroke and butterfly for 15 yards. At this level your child needs to be very comfortable in deep water and be able to swim underwater for 3-5 body lengths.LEVEL 5 – STROKE REFINEMENT The  main focus of this level is to refine the technique for all of the strokes and continue to build endurance. To be in this level your child needs to have passed level 4 and have a great crawl stroke with rotary breathing, strong elementary backstroke and sidestroke. In addition they should know how to do the breaststroke and butterfly. They should be able to dive into a pool, swim 25 yards and surface dive down to 8 feet. In order to pass this level the child must be able to show proper technique in all of the strokes that have been learned. They should be able to swim 50 yards comfortably using both the front crawl and elementary backstrokes.LEVEL 6 – SKILL PROFICIENCYThe  main focus of this level is to improve stroke technique and build endurance. There are three separate sections of instruction in this level. They are: Personal Water Safety, Fitness Swimmer and Fundamentals of Diving. Because this program is taught in a pond with no diving facilities available, only the first two sections will be covered in this class. To be in this level, your child must have proof of having passed level 5.

**PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION FOR THE PROGRAM**This program is for individuals too old for our Half-Day program, but too young to have a job yet. Through this program, individuals will be given the opportunity to work closely with our half-day program staff learning the ropes of the program. This programs is perfect for individuals who will be looking for a job working with children or working at another camp when they are old enough. The CIT will stay with their assigned group for the summer and will learn how to instruct different activities (soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, playground, arts & crafts, street hockey, etc) so they get a feel for what each counselor does with their groups. We will follow state guidelines related to COVID-19. We ask that your child be sent with a mask to wear during the program.*The program will be cancelled if it is raining or if the facility is unsafe from weather*The program is limited to 10 kids.

WILL BE HELD OUTDOORS!Looking for a yoga experience that will make you feel fabulous? Under the guidance of our certified instructor, Jayne Sutton, you will explore stretches and postures designed to open up your entire body. Simple breathing techniques will be introduced to help calm the mind and energize your body. **PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION FOR THE PROGRAM**Hedges Pond: Our Half-Day Program is one of the most popular programs our department offers. This state of the art facility has basketball nets, a soccer field, an arts and crafts area and much more! To adhere to state guidelines we will have groups of 10 kids, and 1 counselor. Children will be grouped together with similar aged children (and siblings), given a specific group color, and will be together the whole summer (unless the state guidelines change that will allow us the switch the groups later on as we move through the phases). It will be a set schedule for every week and kids will not be able to choose their activities like they have in the past. The Half Day Program consists of three 45 minute sessions.We will follow state guidelines related to COVID-19. At drop off, families will be asked if they are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, etc. Under phase 2 guidelines masks will be required if the participants cannot maintain social distance (6 ft apart).The bathhouse will not be open this summer and port-o-johns will be used during camp at Hedges Pond.  If the State guidelines change and we are able to re-open the facilities safely we will do so.*The program will be cancelled if it is raining or if the facility is unsafe from weather*Unfortunately we will not be able to offer the West Elementary Program or Nathaniel Morton Program this summer.  The schools are not allowing any inside or outside use of their facilities because of COVID-19.  **This program is limited to 100 kids.Questions please email Mat Mills at mmills@townhall.plymouth.ma.us

Our youth archery program offers children the unique opportunity to discover the joy of shooting a bow as well as learning about different disciplines of the sport.  Each day the children will will learn to develop proper shooting form based on the National Training System (NTS) under the instruction of a certified coach. A variety of creative and challenging target games are incorporated in every class to ensure students will have fun while learning proper form and aiming skills.  In addition to receiving clear instruction, this class provides unique benefits to children, including the opportunity to make new friends, a great upper body workout, and the chance to build self confidence.Instructor is USA Archery certified - Dee SacchettiCOVID GUIDELINES-Under phase 3 guidelines masks will be required if the participants cannot maintain social distance (6 ft apart)-Instructor will be required to wear mask if they cannot remain socially distant from students.-Each student will receive their own bow and arrows for the duration of the class. In order to pass this level the child must be comfortable underwater, roll from front to back float, tread water for 15 seconds, and  swim for 5 body lengths using a combined stroke or beginner stroke.LEVEL 3 – STROKE  DEVELOPMENT The  main focus of this level is strengthening front and back swimming skills in deep water. The skills associated with the elementary backstroke and sidestroke kick will be introduced. In order to pass this level the child must be able to swim Front Crawl and elementary back strokes for 25 yards, sidestroke for 15 yards and show knowledge of breaststroke and butterfly for 15 yards. At this level your child needs to be very comfortable in deep water and be able to swim underwater for 3-5 body lengths.LEVEL 5 – STROKE REFINEMENT The  main focus of this level is to refine the technique for all of the strokes and continue to build endurance. To be in this level your child needs to have passed level 4 and have a great crawl stroke with rotary breathing, strong elementary backstroke and sidestroke. In addition they should know how to do the breaststroke and butterfly. They should be able to dive into a pool, swim 25 yards and surface dive down to 8 feet. In order to pass this level the child must be able to show proper technique in all of the strokes that have been learned. They should be able to swim 50 yards comfortably using both the front crawl and elementary backstrokes.LEVEL 6 – SKILL PROFICIENCYThe  main focus of this level is to improve stroke technique and build endurance. This program is intended for boys and girls of all skill levels. Children will learn correct form on all strokes as well as learn the basics of singles and doubles strategies. Clinic is taught by former girl's varsity tennis coach Scott Froman*Please bring your own tennis racket. Come join us down at Stephens Field for the fastest growing sport in America! A Paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels.  The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast paced, competitive game for experienced players.  It’s a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong.  We will provide all the equipment and 3 courts.  (you are more than welcome to bring your own paddles).  Beginners and Experienced players welcome, we will have 3 courts to play on.  Space is limited to the first 20 people registered. YOU MUST REGISTER TO PLAY. If you need help with the levels please give the office a call.LEVEL 1 – WATER EXPLORATION The  main focus of Level 1 is an introduction to water.  If your child cannot fully submerge without holding their nose, this class is for them.  Skills required to pass this level include:  front and back float with supports, front and back glide with support, basic combined stroke.LEVEL 2 – PRIMARY SKILLS The  main focus of this level is to strengthen front and back floating skills and work on basic front and back crawl (beginner stroke) skills. In order to pass this level the child must be comfortable underwater, roll from front to back float, tread water for 15 seconds, and  swim for 5 body lengths using a combined stroke or beginner stroke.LEVEL 3 – STROKE  DEVELOPMENT The  main focus of this level is strengthening front and back swimming skills in deep water. The skills associated with the elementary backstroke and sidestroke kick will be introduced. In order to pass this level the child must be able to tread in deep water for 30 seconds, swim the front crawl for 15 yards using rotary breathing and demonstrate knowledge of both the elementary backstroke and scissor kick in deep water.  They will need to be comfortable swimming underwater.LEVEL 4 – STROKE IMPROVEMENTThe  main focus of this level is to build swimming endurance and improve stroke technique. In order to be in this level your child needs to have passed level 3 and be able to swim crawl and elementary backstrokes with good technique for 15 yards. Sidestroke skills will be improved on and complicated breaststroke and butterfly stroke skills will be taught. In order to pass this level the child must be able to swim Front Crawl and elementary back strokes for 25 yards, sidestroke for 15 yards and show knowledge of breaststroke and butterfly for 15 yards. At this level your child needs to be very comfortable in deep water and be able to swim underwater for 3-5 body lengths.LEVEL 5 – STROKE REFINEMENT The  main focus of this level is to refine the technique for all of the strokes and continue to build endurance. To be in this level your child needs to have passed level 4 and have a great crawl stroke with rotary breathing, strong elementary backstroke and sidestroke. In addition they should know how to do the breaststroke and butterfly. They should be able to dive into a pool, swim 25 yards and surface dive down to 8 feet. In order to pass this level the child must be able to show proper technique in all of the strokes that have been learned. They should be able to swim 50 yards comfortably using both the front crawl and elementary backstrokes.LEVEL 6 – SKILL PROFICIENCYThe  main focus of this level is to improve stroke technique and build endurance. There are three separate sections of instruction in this level. They are: Personal Water Safety, Fitness Swimmer and Fundamentals of Diving. Because this program is taught in a pond with no diving facilities available, only the first two sections will be covered in this class. To be in this level, your child must have proof of having passed level 5.

Come join us down at Stephens Field for the fastest growing sport in America! A Paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels.  The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast paced, competitive game for experienced players.  It’s a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong.  We will provide all the equipment and 3 courts.  (you are more than welcome to bring your own paddles).  Beginners and Experienced players welcome, we will have 3 courts to play on.  Space is limited to the first 20 people registered. YOU MUST REGISTER TO PLAY. **PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION FOR THE PROGRAM**This program is for individuals too old for our Half-Day program, but too young to have a job yet. Through this program, individuals will be given the opportunity to work closely with our half-day program staff learning the ropes of the program. This programs is perfect for individuals who will be looking for a job working with children or working at another camp when they are old enough. The CIT will stay with their assigned group for the summer and will learn how to instruct different activities (soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, playground, arts & crafts, street hockey, etc) so they get a feel for what each counselor does with their groups. We will follow state guidelines related to COVID-19. We ask that your child be sent with a mask to wear during the program.*The program will be cancelled if it is raining or if the facility is unsafe from weather*The program is limited to 10 kids.

**PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION FOR THE PROGRAM**Hedges Pond: Our Half-Day Program is one of the most popular programs our department offers. This state of the art facility has basketball nets, a soccer field, an arts and crafts area and much more! To adhere to state guidelines we will have groups of 10 kids, and 1 counselor. Children will be grouped together with similar aged children (and siblings), given a specific group color, and will be together the whole summer (unless the state guidelines change that will allow us the switch the groups later on as we move through the phases). It will be a set schedule for every week and kids will not be able to choose their activities like they have in the past. The Half Day Program consists of three 45 minute sessions.We will follow state guidelines related to COVID-19. At drop off, families will be asked if they are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, etc. Under phase 2 guidelines masks will be required if the participants cannot maintain social distance (6 ft apart).The bathhouse will not be open this summer and port-o-johns will be used during camp at Hedges Pond.  If the State guidelines change and we are able to re-open the facilities safely we will do so.*The program will be cancelled if it is raining or if the facility is unsafe from weather*Unfortunately we will not be able to offer the West Elementary Program or Nathaniel Morton Program this summer.  The schools are not allowing any inside or outside use of their facilities because of COVID-19.  **This program is limited to 100 kids.Questions please email Mat Mills at mmills@townhall.plymouth.ma.us

Our youth archery program offers children the unique opportunity to discover the joy of shooting a bow as well as learning about different disciplines of the sport.  Each day the children will will learn to develop proper shooting form based on the National Training System (NTS) under the instruction of a certified coach. A variety of creative and challenging target games are incorporated in every class to ensure students will have fun while learning proper form and aiming skills.  In addition to receiving clear instruction, this class provides unique benefits to children, including the opportunity to make new friends, a great upper body workout, and the chance to build self confidence.Instructor is USA Archery certified - Dee SacchettiCOVID GUIDELINES-Under phase 3 guidelines masks will be required if the participants cannot maintain social distance (6 ft apart)-Instructor will be required to wear mask if they cannot remain socially distant from students.-Each student will receive their own bow and arrows for the duration of the class. If sharing of bows is necessary, wipes will be available to use before the next student uses the equipment.-Students will remain 6ft apart designated by cones. -All equipment will be cleaned after class.-If you would like your child to wear their mask for the duration of the program please communicate that with the instructor.

In order to pass this level the child must be comfortable underwater, roll from front to back float, tread water for 15 seconds, and  swim for 5 body lengths using a combined stroke or beginner stroke.LEVEL 3 – STROKE  DEVELOPMENT The  main focus of this level is strengthening front and back swimming skills in deep water. The skills associated with the elementary backstroke and sidestroke kick will be introduced. In order to pass this level the child must be able to tread in deep water for 30 seconds, swim the front crawl for 15 yards using rotary breathing and demonstrate knowledge of both the elementary backstroke and scissor kick in deep water.  They will need to be comfortable swimming underwater.LEVEL 4 – STROKE IMPROVEMENTThe  main focus of this level is to build swimming endurance and improve stroke technique. In order to be in this level your child needs to have passed level 3 and be able to swim crawl and elementary backstrokes with good technique for 15 yards. Sidestroke skills will be improved on and complicated breaststroke and butterfly stroke skills will be taught. In order to pass this level the child must be able to swim Front Crawl and elementary back strokes for 25 yards, sidestroke for 15 yards and show knowledge of breaststroke and butterfly for 15 yards. At this level your child needs to be very comfortable in deep water and be able to swim underwater for 3-5 body lengths.LEVEL 5 – STROKE REFINEMENT The  main focus of this level is to refine the technique for all of the strokes and continue to build endurance. To be in this level your child needs to have passed level 4 and have a great crawl stroke with rotary breathing, strong elementary backstroke and sidestroke. In addition they should know how to do the breaststroke and butterfly. They should be able to dive into a pool, swim 25 yards and surface dive down to 8 feet. In order to pass this level the child must be able to show proper technique in all of the strokes that have been learned. They should be able to swim 50 yards comfortably using both the front crawl and elementary backstrokes.LEVEL 6 – SKILL PROFICIENCYThe  main focus of this level is to improve stroke technique and build endurance. There are three separate sections of instruction in this level. They are: Personal Water Safety, Fitness Swimmer and Fundamentals of Diving. **PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION FOR THE PROGRAM**This program is for individuals too old for our Half-Day program, but too young to have a job yet. Through this program, individuals will be given the opportunity to work closely with our half-day program staff learning the ropes of the program. This programs is perfect for individuals who will be looking for a job working with children or working at another camp when they are old enough. The CIT will stay with their assigned group for the summer and will learn how to instruct different activities (soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, playground, arts & crafts, street hockey, etc) so they get a feel for what each counselor does with their groups. We will follow state guidelines related to COVID-19. We ask that your child be sent with a mask to wear during the program.*The program will be cancelled if it is raining or if the facility is unsafe from weather*The program is limited to 10 kids.

**PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION FOR THE PROGRAM**Hedges Pond: Our Half-Day Program is one of the most popular programs our department offers. This state of the art facility has basketball nets, a soccer field, an arts and crafts area and much more! To adhere to state guidelines we will have groups of 10 kids, and 1 counselor. Children will be grouped together with similar aged children (and siblings), given a specific group color, and will be together the whole summer (unless the state guidelines change that will allow us the switch the groups later on as we move through the phases). It will be a set schedule for every week and kids will not be able to choose their activities like they have in the past. The Half Day Program consists of three 45 minute sessions.We will follow state guidelines related to COVID-19. At drop off, families will be asked if they are exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms, etc. Under phase 2 guidelines masks will be required if the participants cannot maintain social distance (6 ft apart).The bathhouse will not be open this summer and port-o-johns will be used during camp at Hedges Pond.  If the State guidelines change and we are able to re-open the facilities safely we will do so.*The program will be cancelled if it is raining or if the facility is unsafe from weather*Unfortunately we will not be able to offer the West Elementary Program or Nathaniel Morton Program this summer.  The schools are not allowing any inside or outside use of their facilities because of COVID-19.  **This program is limited to 100 kids.Questions please email Mat Mills at mmills@townhall.plymouth.ma.us

A Paddle sport created for all ages and skill levels.  The rules are simple and the game is easy for beginners to learn, but can develop into a quick, fast paced, competitive game for experienced players.  It’s a fun sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton and ping pong.  We will provide all the equipment and 3 courts.  (you are more than welcome to bring your own paddles).  Beginners and Experienced players welcome, we will have 3 courts to play on.  Space is limited to the first 20 people registered. YOU MUST REGISTER TO PLAY. This program is intended for boys and girls of all skill levels. Children will learn correct form on all strokes as well as learn the basics of singles and doubles strategies. Clinic is taught by former girl's varsity tennis coach Scott Froman*Please bring your own tennis racket. Take a guided walk with one of the Recreation Departments coaches! We will have a series of walks running at different locations in town. We want to showcase the beautiful trails we have right here in our own backyard!  Walks / hikes will be anywhere from 2-3 miles.  Participants will do nature themed scavenger hikes and other learning activities on the walks.Participants are suggesting to bring sun screen, bug spray, hat, sunglasses, water and a light snack (peanut free). They may take a small bag with them to carry on the walk.Walks should be completed in 2 hours.*please note that there are no bathrooms at Eel River or Beaver Dam.COVID GUIDELINES-under phase 2 guidelines masks will be required if the participants cannot maintain social distance (6 ft apart)

This program is intended for boys and girls of all skill levels. Children will learn correct form on all strokes as well as learn the basics of singles and doubles strategies. Clinic is taught by former girl's varsity tennis coach Scott Froman*Please bring your own tennis racket.
