CrossFit Programs with Baystate Crossfit - Intro to Crossfit for Kids Session A INTRO TO CROSSFIT FOR KIDS AGES 5-10 CrossFit Kids is a strength and conditioning program that is specifically designed for kids and helps them develop a lifelong love of fitness. In a group setting, children and teens participate in fun and engaging workouts that deliver measurable results and prepare them to be well-rounded athletes. ADULT INTRO TO CROSSFIT AGES 18+ Think small group classes while being personally trained. You can expect to move through about 5-15 minutes of a warmup followed by a skill or strength section before moving into whatever the workout is programmed for the day. Movements/workouts are individually adjusted and scaled for each athlete based on their physical ability.16 classes - Participants can choose up to 2 different classes a week to attend Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday or Friday. Daily Times Available: 5:00a, 8:00a, 9:15a, 5:15p ADULT MASTERS CROSSFIT AGES 45+Coach Scott Graham started CrossFit masters as a coach due to high drop-offs in the age group of 45 plus. The methodology of the program is simple. As we age, our bodies naturally start to lose muscle mass and strength. Strength training after the age of 45 offers numerous physical and mental benefits. Not only does it help build muscle mass and strengthen bones, it improves cardiovascular health, reduces stress levels, and improves cognitive function overall. If you’re looking for ways to improve your health as you get older, regular strength training should certainly be part of your fitness routine!Participants can choose 2 classes per week (16 classes total). Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday or Saturday 6:30a to 7:30a*Bay State Crossfit Updated Address is 114 Long Pond Rd, Plymouth

Babysitter Safety Training - Babysitter Safety Training - Session A A child care safety education course for new and seasoned baby-sitters. Teaches child development, practical child care skills, basic first-aid, how to handle emergencies, and the characteristics and responsibilities of a successful baby-sitter. Please bring: a lunch, a doll or stuffed animal to practice diapering and choke-saving techniques, and a “Babysitter’s Magic Bag” filled with interesting and safe items that kids would like. Upon completion of the class participants will receive a certificate of completion. 1 Day Program
Please bring to class:-Pen / pencil and notebook-A doll or stuffed animal to practice diapering and choke-saving techniques.-“Babysitter’s Magic Bag” filled with interesting and safe items that kids would like. A baby sitter's magic bag is a durable bag or box (often kids like to decorate them) filled with collection of items: craft materials, crayons, pipe cleaners, small toys, puppets, books that are inexpensive and easily found in your home or at a department store. When you baby sit, the “treasures” from your magic bag will help make the time you spend with children fun and interesting. Keep in mind the ages of the children for whom you may be responsible. Make sure all items are safe and not broken. There should be no sharp edges, loose wires, or buttons that can injure a child by cutting or swallowing. Have fun and use your imagination! Bring the completed box or bag to class. You will be sharing your ideas with the other students in class.
