2020 Beach & Pond Info

The FY 2021 Beach, 4x4 and Boat Ramp stickers are now available online for sale. Please go to Citizens Action Center, Online Payments section of the town's website for purchasing. https://www.plymouth-ma.gov/home/pages/online-payments
DUE TO THE CURRENT HEALTH CRISIS THERE WILL BE NO WALK IN SALES AT THE TOWN. ALL PURCHASES MUST BE MADE ONLINE, BY PHONE (508-381-5454), OR BY MAIL IN APPLICATION (AVAILABLE ON TOWN WEBSITE).

2020 COVID-19 Safety Measures for Beaches
 We are working on signage for the beaches and need everyone’s help in order to get these beautiful places reopened.  Your Town and State officials are working together to enforce the following recommended safety guidelines for all beaches until further notice:
Rules that apply for all Town of Plymouth Beaches
1.     Face coverings required within 6ft of all staff
2.    Face coverings required within 6ft of others
3.    Roll vehicle windows down 1/3 only when interacting with staff
4.    Park vehicles in every other spot (leave at least 6ft in between each car)
5.    Maintain 12+ft between groups on the beach
6.    No groups of more than 10 people
7.    Practice good hygiene by washing & sanitizing hands frequently
8.    No grills allowed
9.    No organized games allowed
10.  Please dispose of your trash appropriately
Plymouth Beach Rules:
1.    Enter beach ramps single file in appropriate direction (each ramp will be for either going down to the beach, or for going up to the parking lot)
2.    Bathrooms are now open, along 3 Port-o-Johns are available for bathrooms located next to the existing bathroom facility which will include hand sanitizing stations
Long Beach 4x4 Area Rules:
1.    Park vehicles at least 15 ft apart
Morton Park Rules
1.    100 vehicles max for parking lot ($20 during the week/$25 on the weekends for daily beach passes)
2.    Lifeguards will be guarding on Main Beach only
3.    Bathhouse is open along with 3 Port-o-Johns are available for bathrooms which will include hand sanitizing stations
4.     Non-residents are only allowed to park at the Main Beach Area.
Fresh Pond Rules
1.    Bathhouse is open along with 2 Port-o-Johns are available for bathrooms which will include hand sanitizing stations
Hedges Pond Rules

Until further notice:
Only Plymouth resident vehicles with a valid beach sticker or proof of Plymouth Residency will be allowed to park in beach parking lots on the weekends. If vehicles do not have a valid beach sticker, but have proof of Plymouth Residency, they may buy a $20 daily parking pass ($25 on the weekends at Morton Park).  
All parking areas are open to their maximum capacity (Morton Park maximum capacity is 100 vehicles)

*As of 8/1/2020 All beaches in Plymouth will be open to non-residents during the week ONLY for daily parking. Cash is accepted credit cards preferred.
*Documentation they are from Plymouth is needed- (drivers license or vehicle registration), they can buy a day pass if they don’t have a sticker.  Anyone in the vehicle can show proof of residency. 



White Horse Beach –  Resident Beach Parking Sticker not required as there is no parking lot available and it is limited street parking only.  Visitors are strongly advised to conduct themselves both on the street where they park, and on the beach, in a manner that respects surrounding homes.  Police take notice.  Staffed as of June 20, 2020.  Port-o-johns available. 

Stephens Field –  Under construction soon – date to be determined
 
Nelson Park –  Parking Limited.  Resident Beach Parking Sticker NOT required.   Not staffed/No lifeguard on duty.  No restroom facilities.  Splash Pad is open as of July 1st.  Please call the Parks Dept. for questions 508-830-4162 x 12116
