Stop the leakers! Stop the drip, drip, drip. Learn to love a brown lawn and how important it is to not leave the water on when you’re brushing your teeth. Spend the afternoon with the Center Hill gang and learn how to save the planet one glass of water at a time. We’ll start with the water you bring, in a clean jar, collected from a faucet in your home. Label it with your name, address and a “W” if you get water from a well, or “M” if your home is connected to a municipal (town) water system. Weather permitting - we’ll head to Center Hill Beach and see how climate change is changing the water around us and collect a sample of pond water. We’ll head back to the Center where you can use a special meter to see what’s going on in your water and learn about threats to our aquifer. Then you will take the WaterSense Quiz. How’d you do? Finally, we will search the Center for H2OhNos: how many did you find?
