BRIDGES AND BUILDING
Have you ever been across a bridge and wondered how it works?  Get ready to get your mind in motion as you work with and take home your very own Structures Set!  Learn all about buildings and bridges and how they literally support our lives!  Experiment with different types of bridges and find out how their architectural design provides massive weight support.  Discover all the types of forces applied and how engineers manage to reduce their effects.  With your kit, you can build up to nine working models such as a house, pyramid, and various types of bridges: beam, arch, truss, cable-stayed and suspension bridge.  You will study theory and learn the history of some amazing structures and historical landmarks.  Come bring out the architect side of you as you enter the fascinating world of buildings and bridges and explore the magic of STEM!

OUTER SPACE AND PHYSICS FUN
Come join an exciting world of space exploration as you build and take home your very own Solar System Kit!  Put your mind in motion as you paint and create your own planets and learn all about our planetary neighborhood with your solar system model.  Check out our real meteorite fragment samples!  Take part in other exciting activities involving physics, air pressure, and density.  Build and take home a mini mighty missile launcher and watch it travel as much as ten feet high!  Can you launch yours farther then your classmates?  Be mesmerized as you build and take home your own Dip-er-Do Stunt Plane and learn about the four major forces of flight.  You will also witness some really neat demonstrations from your instructor.  Watch as an egg is magically sucked into a bottle, behold a tornado being created, and much much more in this fun and exciting program!

**If you register for both programs children will have a supervised lunch. (each child must bring their own lunch)
